Plymouth lost 11-5 in seven innings at Bill Nixon on Monday, despite outhitting Jimtown 11 to 10.

Jacob Seagraves racked up two RBIs on three hits for Plymouth. He singled in the first, third, and sixth innings.

Myles Scott looked sharp on the mound. Scott held Jimtown hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Even though B Weinkauf allowed five runs over 4 1/3 innings he still recorded the victory. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered nine hits.

Jimtown stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the second, scoring one run on an RBI single by A Brown.

Jimtown increased its lead with seven runs in the third. The inning got off to a hot start when C Desimone singled, plating E Oblinger. That was followed up by C Kois’s single, bringing home J Brown.

Three runs in the bottom of the third helped Plymouth close its deficit to 7-3. A two-run single by Seagraves and an RBI single by Ike Kastner set off a Plymouth rally. Finally, Weinkauf got Trent Briles to fly out to end the threat.

Two runs in the bottom of the fifth helped Plymouth close its deficit to 11-5. An RBI single by Riley Cartwright and an RBI single by Blake Milliser gave Plymouth life. But, D Chafin got Chase Peters to to end the inning.
