Plymouth took the last of five lead changes in a back-and-forth affair against South Bend Clay, securing a 5-4 victory on Saturday at Bill Nixon Field.

Plymouth finally managed to grab the lead after a strong eighth inning. Plymouth scored on an RBI single by Hayden Skirvin off Tim Strychalski, scoring Justin Drudge.

Jacob Seagraves racked up two RBIs on two hits for Plymouth. He singled in the first and third innings.

Joeyt Dragani got the win in relief for Plymouth. Dragani pitched two innings and allowed no runs.

Plymouth jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first. Chase Peters started the rally for Plymouth with a single. A groundout by Joe Knapp then moved Peters from first to second. Seagraves singled, plating Peters.

Plymouth scored one run in each of the third, fourth, seventh, and eighth. In the third, Plymouth scored on an RBI single by Seagraves, bringing home Peters.
