Plymouth and Wawasee traded the lead three times on Thursday, but Plymouth ended up on top with a 5-2 win in seven innings over Wawasee.

Plymouth pulled out the win thanks to a strong sixth inning. After giving two runs to Wawasee in the B-5th inning on dropped infield fly,  Plymouth went up for good on a two-run single by Ike Kastner off Joe Fleagle, plating Connor Flynn and Chase Peters.

Kastner racked up four RBIs on two hits for Plymouth.

Riley Cartwright recorded the win for Plymouth. He allowed two runs over five innings. The Plymouth pitcher struck out none, walked six and surrendered four hits.

The game was scoreless until Plymouth broke the ice with one run in the fourth. Plymouth scored on an error.
