Congratulations to the PHS BOYS SWIMMERS and DIVERS on finishing their regular season with a victory over Knox and Tippy Valley. Sweeping thier events were Blake Milliser and Jake Martin in the 200 FREE. Jared Hill and Jordan Wendel in the 100 FREE. Matt Pearson and Levi Schuler in the 500 FREE. Tom Serf and Elliot Eads in the Backstroke. Plymouth’s 200 FREE RELAY teams also took 1st and 2nd.
It was the Seniors versus the underclassmen and the Seniors prevailed with a time of 1:46:29. But the underclassmen were hot on their heels with a time of 1:46:46.
Other victories included Schuler in the Individual Medley, Serf in the Fly, and the 400 FREE RELAY team of Hill, Milliser, Schortt and Martin.
Notable performances were turned in by Pearson with a lifetime best time in the 500 Free Style. Brady Ruffing had a season best score in Diving, narrowly missing first place.
Senior Alayna Holmquest will be competing tonight the Regional Diving competition at Mishawaka Marian High School. The top 8 Divers will advance to the State Finals this weekend in Indianapois
