11/07/11 Members of the Marshall County Drainage Board will meet at 8:30 a.m. Monday for a special meeting.  The meeting has been called to discuss the Yellow River bank projection program for the area on the east side of the river from the footbridge to near Garden Court.

This meeting is estimated to only take 15 minutes.  Immediately following the Marshall County Commissioners will meet for their regular meeting.  Their agenda includes the monthly EMA report by director Clyde Avery, a discussion with Sheriff Chamberlin on the Securus phone contract and the request of Karen Richey from Purdue Extension to increase the mileage reimbursement.

Also on the Commissioner’s agenda for Monday morning is the County Highway report by Neal Haeck, an update on the 13th Road bridge replacement project by DLZ, and an update on the Pierce Street bridge replacement project by USI.  Mary Jane Walsworth, Chief Probation Officer will have a presentation on the Delaware County Juvenile Detention Facility.  County Attorney Jim Clevenger will have his report along with County Auditor Penny Lukenbill with her report.  Under Commissioner Items is the ordinance codification contract.

Both the Special Drainage Board meeting and the County Commissioner’s meeting are open to the public for comments and questions. The meetings will be held in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.
