08/30/11       Plymouth Police Officers arrest six over the weekend.

 To start the weekend off on Friday, August 27th at 7:33 p.m. Officer Stamper of the Plymouth Police Department made an arrest at the intersection of East Lincoln Highway, just east of the US 31 overpass.  It was found that 20 year old Christopher T. Hawkins of Bourbon was arrested for possession of synthetic marijuana and was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in with a $2,000.00 cash bond. 

Stamper made another arrest of Bobby M. Harkness 39, of Plymouth on the same date about 8:00 p.m. in the 800 block of West Madison Street.  Harkness was driving on a suspended license with a prior conviction, and also was found to be in the possession of a legend drug.  He was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in with a $1000.00 cash bond.

Officer Stamper then made a third arrest on Friday night at 9:44 p.m. when he made a traffic stop at the intersection of North Michigan Street and Franklin Street and found that driver, Margaret A. Haug 35, of Elkhart was driving on a suspended license.  She was booked into the Marshall County Jail where she is being held on a $750.00 cash bond.

The fourth and final arrest that Officer Stamper made on the evening of Friday, August 27th was at 11:09 p.m. in the 800 block of Poplar Street.   Skylar A. Evans 18, of Plymouth was in possession of Marijuana with a legend drug, and consuming alcohol as a minor. Evans was also taken to the Marshall County Jail where his bond was set at $1000.00 cash, which was paid on Saturday, August 28th at 9:20 a.m. and he was released.    

All four of Stampers arrests are scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on September 13th at 8:30am. 

Officer Wally Derifield made an arrest in the early morning of Saturday, August 28th around 1:00 a.m. when he conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Harrison Street and Oak Drive.  It was found that Kevin Densmore 30, of Bolingbrook, Illinois was a Fugitive from Justice.  He was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he will be awaiting transportation.  No bond is set for Densmore. 

Then at 1:46 a.m. on Saturday, August 28th, Officer Deerfield arrested and transported Salvador Rangel 39, of Plymouth to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury from an incident that occurred in the 1600 block of Michigan Street.  There is a $750.00 cash bond for Rangel’s release, with a scheduled court appearance in Marshall County Superior Court #2 again on September 13th at 8:30 a.m.
