07/26/11 The 2nd Annual Plymouth Rockies Football Radio Auction will be held this Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Last year the auction raised just over $6,000 with funds being used to provide meals after the away games for all three teams.  It pays for the Senior Trip, some transportation costs, equipment and other things not covered by the school.

Coach Barron will be on the Opinion Show this Friday beginning at 9 a.m. along with Laura Mann who is this year’s Senior Mom.  We will discuss the football program and then start the auction about 9:30.  Each half hour we will have another 10 to 12 items on the auction block.

There are all kinds of items that have been donated by individuals and business for this fundraiser.  A few of the items WTCA will be auctioning off include a 2009-2010 Milwaukee Bucks autographed basketball, a Colts football autographed by  Austin Collie, tickets to a Colts game, tickets to Indiana Beach and Holiday World Splashin Safari. We have jewelry, coca cola, golf, pizzas and oil changes and lots more.  A LexMark Copier valued at $6,000, flowers for a year, a hot air balloon ride a lots more.

People interested in bidding on items during Friday’s auction should call WTCA on Wednesday and Thursday to receive a bid number which will help the process go a little easier.

We will release a complete listing of items for the auction on Thursday.  Stay-tuned for more details.
