06/29/11 The Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent of the Plymouth Community Schools and the Maintenance Director will be the special guest speakers at this month’s meeting of the Marshall County Tax Awareness Committee.

Earlier this year TAC invited Diana Vice, operator of the blog site “Welcome to My Tea Party”  to speak at their meeting.   She has been very vocal about the roofing projects underway on various schools. Also appearing on her blog were accusations that there is mold in the high school.

Superintendent Dan Tyree and Assistant Superintendent Roger Smith will discuss the way the roofing projects were bid and other issues which may include the pool, New Tech High School and Plymouth University.  Mr. Schoof will be on hand to talk about maintenance projects and issues at the schools.

The June meeting of TAC is this Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Laramore Room of the Plymouth Public Library.  There will be a general business meeting prior to the guest speakers and a brief executive board meeting following the regular meeting.    The community is invited and welcomed to attend the meeting.
