04/06/11 The Marshall County Police Department received a call requesting an investigation into a theft in the 14000 block of 5th Road. Sometime between Monday, March 28th at approximately 12:30 p.m. and Tuesday, March 29th at 1:00 pm an unknown individual or individuals took a radiator and a car battery from a 1970 Chevy Pick-Up, one battery from an International Tractor, and a catalytic converter from a 1992 Cadillac. Anyone with information regarding the thefts should call the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.

On Tuesday, March 29th Marshall County Police received a call of a possible break- in that occurred at Pla-Mor Campground located at 2162 US 6 in Bremen. Sometime during the weekend of March 26th, unknown person or persons entered the property of Pla-Mor Campground and attempted to gain entry into several trailers. Two of the trailers were actually entered, and it is believed the person (s) removed a TV from one of the trailers. A witness told County Police that they observed a red colored van or SUV in the park on Sunday, March 27th but it is unknown if it is connected to this theft. On Thursday, March 31 at approximately 4:00 p.m. County Police received a call from the 8000 block of 3A Road in Bremen in regards to a theft. The caller stated that unknown individuals stole an unknown amount of stainless steel from their property. Information was obtained on a vehicle description and provided to Officer Les McFarland of the Marshall County Police Department. McFarland continued the investigation and located the owner of the vehicle allegedly involved in the case. On Saturday, April 2nd Officer McFarland obtained a confession from Dana Richards, who lives south of LaPaz on the theft. A case report will be completed and forwarded to the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
