Winter Storm Watch Tuesday & Wednesday

  02/03/14   The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for all of northern Indiana that goes into effect beginning at 1pm on Tuesday, February 4 until 1pm on Wednesday, February.
Snow is expected to begin to fall Tuesday afternoon and or evening and intensify overnight into Wednesday morning.  Accumulation totals of between 6 to 10 inches or more of snow in some areas is possible.   In addition, north winds will pick up causing blowing and drifting of snow and reduced visibility.
Marshall County EMA Director, Clyde Avery said, “This will be another significant weather event making it difficult for plows to keep up with deteriorating road conditions, so please plan accordingly.”   
A “Watch Level” travel advisory remains in place for the unincorporated areas of Marshall County.
