04/24/12 Fitness Forum Sports & Wellness has partnered with the Marshall County Neighborhood Center to collect gently used shoes, athletic or other shoes, so children in our community can start the school year out with new shoes. Any size shoe, adults or children’s is welcomed. The community may drop off shoes to the collection bin placed in the Fitness Forum at LifePlex lobby the month of May. Sara Flynn said, “Help us help others as we Walk a Mile.”
The Ancilla College girls’ volleyball team under the direction of Coach Lana Singleton has already donated shoes for the “Walk A Mile” campaign. All Ancilla College athletes are participating in this community project to help area school children.
