08/23/13 This month’s “Second Friday” event sponsored by the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce will be held on Friday, September 13th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Garro Street between Michigan and Center Street.
Come down and see brand new vehicles from Oliver Ford Lincoln, Country Chevrolet, Tim Martin Buick GMC and the Autopark. Second Friday will have lots of activities for the entire family to enjoy including a Pie Eating Contest, Big Wheel Race, Razor Scooter Race and a Dunk Tank with special appearances from Plymouth’s very own Basketball Team.
Those wishing to participate in the Big Wheel races will be between the ages of 3 and 7 while kids ages 8 to 11 will compete in the Razor Scooter Contests. 1st Place winners will be presented with $25.00 gift cards from the auto dealers while 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive a ribbon. All participants are asked to bring their own Big Wheels and Razor Scooters for the competition.
Bailey’s Sweet Kettle Corn and Becca Fresh Homemade Pies will be available to purchase and the Plymouth Fusion Softball Team will be selling hot dogs, chips, pop and bottled water as a fundraiser.
