Tuesday evening the Plymouth Sports Boosters recognized the February Scholar Athletes of the Month during the Varsity Basketball game.
The female scholar athlete is Hunter Stevens, daughter of Darren and Angie Stevens. Hunter is currently 43rd in her class. Hunter is on the basketball team and played volleyball last fall. Stevens is secretary of LEAD, a member of the Sunshine Society, Pep Club and National Honor Society. Hunter’s future plans are to attend Hillsdale College to study Sport Psychology and play basketball.
The male scholar athlete for February is Kyle Lacefield, the son of Kevin and Felacia Lacefield. Kyle is currently ranked 52 in his class. Lacefield was on the football team last fall and will run track in the spring. His is a member of the Varsity Club. Kyle’s future plans are to attend Trine University to study Psychology.
