11/07/13 WTCA and the Pilot News were extremely pleased with participation in the 1st Annual Scarecrow Contest. Fifty businesses participated this year which was way above anticipation.
The two local medias first want to thank all those involved. Without their participation this family fun fall event could not happen. They also want to thank the hundreds that voted for their favorite scarecrows.
After tabulating all the votes the top three winners were notified and each will receive advertising packages from both WTCA and the Pilot News.
Retro Girl on South Michigan Street at the Yellow River Bridge was the top vote getter with their Dr. Seuss display.
Second place was L & K Serendipity Shop with their tribute to Duck Dynasty.
The final winner was the Trading Post with their formally dressed skeleton.

Peregrine Heating.
