Plymouth Library_frontThe Plymouth Public Library Summer Reading Program, EVERY HERO HAS A STORY,was very successful due to the generosity of the Friends of the Library, local businesses, organizations, and volunteers.  A sincere thank you goes to the Friends of the Library for funding the fabulous entertainment, reading prizes, and special programs that were enjoyed throughout the reading program.

The Plymouth Library is very grateful to Park Superintendent Mike Hite and the Park Board for the donation of the Hoosier Old Wheels picnic shelter for the Bubble Day Program.  Many thanks also go to Boy Scout Troop 257 and Girl Scout Troop 293 for volunteering their help at the Bubble Day Program and other activities as well as members of the Kiwanis Club who volunteered their time to help out at Bubble.

Little Caesar’s Pizza,  Long John Silver’s Restaurant, Taco Bell, Family Express, Applebee’s Restaurant, Texas Roadhouse, Bob Evans Restaurant, and Papa John’s were very generous with their donations of food coupons as rewards for the summer readers.  In addition, the library thanked Little Caesars’ staff for bringing Caesar Man, snow cones, and additional prizes to the Kid’s Flea Market and Bubble Day.

Others assisting with the Summer Reading activities were Gloria Seitz, Art Teacher, for two art classes, Faith Colling, PHS Art Teacher, for face painting.  Todd and Bill Hooper captivated their audience at Bubble Day, as they demonstrated their skills as terrific jugglers.

A special thank-you goes to all of the people who volunteered their help with the various activities with the Plymouth Library’s Summer Reading program.  .
