The event is designed to create a smooth transition for eight grade students to high school this fall. From 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., in the PHS cafeteria, parents and students will have the opportunity to visit departmental displays and speak with staff members about programs and courses offered at Plymouth High School.
New this year, Freshmen Orientation is open to students and parents from other school districts as well. If you are exploring the possibility of transferring into Plymouth Community School Corporation for the 2015-2016 school year or in the near future… now is the time to come see why PHS is ranked among the top high schools in the Hoosier state!
A team of dedicated counselors, teachers and administrators will be on hand to answer questions that students and parents may have about the Plymouth Community School Corporation and Plymouth High School.
At 6:30 p.m., the program will start in the auditorium beginning with a brief welcome, followed by interactive breakout sessions with informational videos pertaining to:
• Preparing for College Readiness
• Preparing for Career Readiness
• And “A Life in the Day of a PHS Student”

Meanwhile, the same evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., current PHS students and parents will have the opportunity for prescheduled or “walk in” parent/teacher conferences.
