Little Friends PreSchool Enjoy Afternoon with Miller’s Residents

October 31, 2013

11/01/13 Children in the Marshall County area often come to Miller’s Senior Living Community to sing or dance for the residents.  Sometimes they even bring small gifts or handcrafted items to share.  The Miller’s residents decided they would like to give something to the children.

Activity Director Cindy Flagg gathered the items necessary to make a special treat for the students at Little Friends Preschool.  The group of adults made green pudding, put it in clear plastic punch cups and sprinkled crushed Oreo cookies on the top.  They then drew eyes and a scary mouth on the outside of the glass.

After completing their monster pudding cups the Miller’s residents took a trip to the preschool which is located at Plymouth First United Methodist Church.  Under the direction of preschool director and teacher Michelle Faulstich and her helper Mrs. Phillips the children said a prayer and sat patiently while they received their monster pudding cups.

After snack the children performed a song and dance for the group from Miller’s.   The dance demonstrated how the children “get their wiggles out” as they prepare to start their preschool day!
