Comments from Mayor Candidates

November 8, 2011

11/09/11 After all the votes were tallied, Mayor Mark Senter said, “I’m very happy with the results. I think it was important to stay positive the whole time (campaigning).”

He added, “There are times when we wanted to rebut what they (Democrats) were saying, but in the long run it held us to stay positive.”

Senter said he believes that he and Jim Vinall will continue to work together for the good of the City.

Jim Vinall said he and his fellow Democrats put together a platform based on what the people of Plymouth felt were their top priorities. Vinall said, “We listened to the people.” He said that he and Mayor Senter have worked on a number of projects in the past and expects that they will be able to work together in the future.

Vinall said, “I’m grateful for the support we received. Plymouth is a great place to live.”
