06/03/12 On Sunday, July 1st at around 4:30am, Patrolman Les McFarland investigated an accident at the intersection of Grape Road and 5B Road. Driver Brian L. Steele 46, of South Bend states that he was traveling northbound on Grape Road when he fell asleep and went off the roadway into a ditch. The 1999 blue GMC Jimmy rolled over onto the driver’s side causing damage to the vehicle. Unknown injuries were reported.
