POTAWATOMI WILDLIFE PARK HOLDING MAY BIRD COUNT

May 7, 2014

Potawatomi Wildlife Park will host their annual May Bird Count this Saturday May 10th.  Participants should meet at the Nature Center at 8:00 AM. Experienced, novice and beginner birders are all welcome.

The objective is to count the number of birds of each species and add to the species list for Potawatomi Wildlife Park. The results will be compiled and also forwarded to the Audubon Society where it will be added to other May counts providing a valuable scientific record of the bird populations occurring each year in Indiana. Questions may be directed to the Potawatomi Wildlife Park director at (574)498-6550 or park@getintonature.com.
