PHS2015_Senior AwardsMore than 80 community scholarships were awarded to top seniors in the 2015 graduating class of Plymouth High school.  All of the community scholarships were awarded by surprise as the event unfolded.

Students were also recognized for their academic and athletic success for scholarships they were able to secure and to achieve on their own. Altogether school officials say the grand tally of Friday’s scholarship total was more than $3.5 million dollars.

PHS2015_Senior Awards_Exchange StudentsNot only were PHS students awarded for the excellence, the class of 2015 recognized the foreign exchange students who attended with them this year and presented them with American flags.  Exchange students are Pietro Bologna from Italy who has been staying with Bruce and Delia Gadziola, Sachino Naito from Japan who lived with Jamie Baca, Leon Olszewki from Austria staying with Christina and Mark Miller and Mikkel Strobbel form Denmak who’s been living with William and Rebecca Rettig.


PHS2015_Senior AWARDS_Top Five PercentPHS Principal Jim Condon presented awards to the top 5% of the class of 2015.  Students receiving the honor include Katelyn O’Neal, Emma Libersky, Kylee Rippy, Haley Harrell, Jessica Stillson, Abby Patrick, Megan Rust, Elizabeth Portteus, Kennedy Schnieders, Annalise Piazza, Garrick Nate, Kylie Redman, Andrew Gerard and Brandson Knepper.

This week WTCA will continue to list and scholarship winners from PHS.
