Wind_Chill_AdvisoryA wind chill advisory has been issued for Marshall County that goes into effect at midnight Sunday and isn’t scheduled to expire until Monday morning at 10 a.m.  The hazardous weather will include dangerous wind chill values between 10 below zero and 20 below zero tonight and into Monday morning.

Prolonged exposure to this extreme cold can lead to hypothermia and frost bit in 30 minutes of less.  Precautionary preparedness actions include dressing in layers making sure all skin is covered.  Those who have to be outside should wear a hat and gloves to protect themselves.
