Alsop Construction was low bidder on the Noah Berger Ditch in Bourbon Township.  Maintenance work includes debrushing and cleaning approximately 7,735 feet of the Noah Berger Ditch starting near Filbert Road on 12B and heading north under Lincoln Highway.  The contractor is to burn and bury all removed trees, brush and debris.  Low bid was $6,100.

Alsop also was awarded the bid for the Mark Redinger Ditch in Walnut Township.  The scope of work includes debrushing and cleaning 6,500 feet of the Redinger Ditch and 935 feet of the Roahrabaugh Arm.  Here too they are to burn and bury all removed trees, brush and debris.

The final maintenance bid was for the Elmer Seltenright Ditch in Plymouth.  The project starts just north of the airport and runs through the Plymouth Rock Golf Course to 7B Road.  Hunter Transit was the low bidder at $8,444 and will have to clear cut all trees, saplings and brush along the ditch except those trees marked with ribbons.  They are to remove all debris each nit from the ditch and haul it north up past Ev and Jayne’s Irish Inn where the trees and brush will be burned and buried.

The contractors have until April 25th to complete these maintenance projects.
