School_board_meetingDuring a regular meeting on December 2, the Plymouth School Board unanimously approved contract extensions and raises for administrators. The raises ranged from 1.2 percent to 2.7 percent.

Contract considerations were given for adherence to the salary schedule, leaves, miscellaneous benefits, insurance benefits and retirement/severance benefits.

Responding to a request for a clarification by Laura Kryer, president of the Plymouth Education Association, concerning insurance benefits, Superintendent Daniel Tyree indicated that administrators who have family plans pay $960 towards the premiums. Although the insurance premiums were increased by 10 percent this year, Tyree said administrators would not have an increase in their contributions beyond the $960.
