arrests11/13/14 At 7:47 P.M. on Tuesday, November 11th Officer Jeremy Enyart with the Plymouth Police Department responded to Wal-Mart in reference to a male shoplifter. Wal-Mart Asset Protection advised they witnessed two 17 year old juvenile males and an 18 year old male shoplift items from the store. The 18 year old male was identified as Dalton C. Miller of Hamlet. He was taken into custody for theft and lodged at the Marshall County Jail with bond set at $755. Miller was released on Wednesday after posting bond and was issued a December 16th, Superior Court II date for his initial hearing. The two juvenile males were transported to the Plymouth Police Department and released into their parent’s custody pending a court hearing with the Marshall County Probation Department.

Later on Tuesday evening at 10:17 Officer Shanna Gilmer responded to State Road 17 at Glen Overmyer Drive after a 9-1-1 caller reported a vehicle all over the roadway. The vehicle was located on State Road 17 by the hospital and was stopped for a traffic violation. The driver, identified as 37 year old Donna L. Hakes of Hamlet was found to be intoxicated. She was taken into custody and lodged at the Marshall County Jail with bond set at $1,505. Hakes will appear in Marshall Superior Court II on November 25th.
