ArrestedOn Friday, August 22nd at about 8:15 p.m. Sergeant Brad Kile of the Bremen Police Department observed a moped disregard two stop signs at Maple and East Street and East and Sherman Streets. The officer initiated a traffic stop.

During the investigation it was determined that the suspect, 49 year old Brett Eades of Mishawaka was operating while impaired and in possession of marijuana. Mr. Eades was incarcerated in the Marshall County Jail on a complaint of Operating While Intoxicated, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Paraphernalia.

His cash bond was set at $1,505 and he was given an initial hearing date of September 9th in Marshall County Superior Court I.
