Plymouth FIreDepartmentLogoMay was a busy month for the Plymouth Fire Department. Fire Chief Rod Miller presented the monthly activity report at the Board of Public Works and Safety meeting. There were a total of 193 alarm situations in May.
There were 156 emergency medical service incidents including 17 medical assists. The fire department responded to two structure fires, one chemical release, an electrical problem, a special outside fire, one unintentional system operation, 3 goof intent calls, 2 false alarms, a request for public service assistance and eight times fire and or EMS were dispatched en route.
