01/13/14 Preliminary work on the 7th Road extension project continues to move forward. Marshall County Attorney Jim Clevenger reported to the Marshall County Commissioners Friday that mediation for the purchase of right of way property was conducted Thursday.
Judge Michael Cook was the mediator for the case between the county and ITAMCO and his decision is expected soon. Clevenger told the Commissioners that the litigation for another parcel of land for the project with DP&P had been resolved with DP&P dismissing it’s case with prejudice.
The 7th Road extension will be the city of Plymouth’s link with the new U.S. 31 currently under construction.
