11/07/13 On Monday, November 4th at 12:16 p.m. Plymouth Police Officer Derek Workman responded to a two vehicle personal injury accident on Oak Drive. Arriving on the scene the driver of the black, 2006 PT Cruiser, 23 year old Sonya Snider of Rochester stated that she was turning south onto Oak Drive from the access road by Aldi. She also stated that she was traveling west and saw two lanes of traffic stopped and pulled into the third lane and was struck by 31 year old Sarah Murray of Plymouth who was driving a black, 2008, Ford Edge.
Murray stated that she was northbound on Oak Drive when Sniders vehicle struck the front of her vehicle.
Sonya Snider contented that Murrays vehicle was not in the appropriate lane but after the investigation of the accident it was determined that the vehicle was in its proper lane and had the right away.
Sonya Snider and her passenger 71 year old Shirley Foshee of Plymouth were transported to Saint Joseph Regional for minor injuries sustained in the crash.
Assisting at the scene were Plymouth Fire and EMS, Plymouth Police and Ran’s Towing who assisted in the removal of both vehicle due to the damage sustained in the crash.
