08/06/13 On Saturday, August 3rd at approximately 8:00 p.m. Bourbon Officer Matthew Geiger received a dispatch of a yellow Volkswagen traveling at a high rate of speed on US 30 eastbound from Hawthorn Road. Officer Geiger located the vehicle and clocked the vehicle going over 90 m.p.h. on the radar. The vehicle was stopped east of State Road 19 on US 30 where 18 year old Macie J. McMichael of Plymouth admitted to driving to fast with juvenile passengers in the vehicle. McMichael was taken into custody for reckless driving and was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $505 bond. She was later released that night after posting bond and given an August 13th Superior Court II date to appear for initial charges.
