07/22/13 The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet Monday evening at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall.  The agenda includes awarding the bid for the Pioneer Drive Lift Station Improvement project and reports from the various board members and department heads.

The City Engineer will discuss communication infrastructure installation for AT&T on Parkview Street and for Bomarko on Walter Glaub Drive.  Also on the agenda is the City Attorney, City Clerk Treasurer, and approval of claims. 

The Common Council meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. with a public hearing on the tax abatement request of the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation for the shell building. 

The council will consider on third reading of an ordinance amendment pertaining to the city’s noise ordinance.  The change would allow an event that may cause a violation of the city’s noise ordinance to request an exemption.

The City Council will consider first reading of the ordinances to set salaries for appointed officer and employees, fire and police personnel, and elected officials for 2014.  They will also consider an ordinance authorizing and directing submission of a written request to participate in the Indiana Department of Insurance’s Insurance proceeds set aside program on first reading.

The City meetings are open to the public although comments and questions are limited to agenda items only.
