06/18/13 On Friday, June 14, at approximately 2:00 a.m. an officer with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on US 30 near Elm Road for several moving violations.  During the course of the stop, it was determined that the driver, 20 year old Derek Hahn of Plymouth was believed to be under the influence of controlled substance.  Mr. Hahn submitted to a certified test and was later lodged into the Marshall County Jail for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person and Operating a vehicle While Intoxicated under a Controlled Substance. 

A short time later officers went to Mr. Hahn’s residence in the 200 block of Elliott Street in Plymouth and located several items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine, along with a substance believed to be methamphetamine.  Mr. Hahn was additionally charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Chemical Reagents. A probable cause affidavit was signed by a judge and Mr. Hahn’s bond was set at $50,000. 

Marshall County Police Department was assisted by officers with the Plymouth Police Department, Bourbon Police Department, and the Indiana State Police Clandestine Team.
