11/09/12 Local attorney, Ralph “Rick” Huff will be the special guest speaker for the annual Veteran’s Day service sponsored by the Plymouth American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Disabled American Veterans.

Rick Huff served 15 months in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot with the U.S. Army reaching the rank of Captain.  He flew 750 combat missions and was awarded two Distinguished Flying Crosses, a Bronze Star, 31 Air Medals and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with a Gold Star.

Vietnam Veteran and DAV State Chaplin, Reverend Richard Pickard will give the opening prayer and benediction at the service.   Pickard served with the United States Marine Corps.

The Veteran’s Day Service will be held on the 11th day of the 11th month at the 11th hour, this Sunday, November 11th at 11 a.m. on the lawn of the Marshall County Court House.  The public is encouraged to attend.

Mayor Mark Senter has requested to have traffic on Jefferson detoured during the service.
