08/22/12 Plymouth FOP Lodge 195 networked with the Indiana State Police for the annual Pack-A-Backpack campaign.  The two organizations would like to thank everyone involved in the 2012 Pac-A-Backpack Drive. With the help of the following businesses they were able to distribute close to 700 backpacks through-out the Marshall County Schools helping hundreds of needy youth.   Companies helping this year included: Wrench General, Dollar General, Moose Lodge, Fernbaugh’s Diamonds & Fine Jewelry, Opie’s Deli, Hoosier Tire, Tri Kappa, TCU, WTCA, Bowen Printing, Army and Air Force Recruiters South Bend, Army National Guard recruiter Plymouth, and the American Legion Post 27.

Backpacks and school supplies were given to to six school systems in Marshall County helping eleven schools total. All but one school has received their supplies and it is hoped by the end of this week they will have supplies delivered to them.

From individuals at the collection sights, school counselors, and those that packed and distributed the backpacks and supplies they can’t thank you enough!

Most of all the FOP and ISP would like to thank the GREAT COMMUNITY that always comes through when the need is so great to help a child’s life be a little bit better.
