08/03/12 This Saturday, we’re celebrating ‘National Farm Market Week’, a trend that has grown steadily throughout the country (and the world!) in the last decade. The Farm Bureau will be bringing tractors and answering farming questions. Straw bales will be set up for storytelling with kids and there may even be toy tractor drawing. Sr. Sue Rogers of Earthworks will also be offering a cooking class for the youngsters. First Saturday brings Mr. Art of FunFest with his artistic balloon creations for young and old alike.

‘The Plymouth Farmers’ Market is held Saturdays from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the newly-named River Park Square at Garro and River, east of Michigan. Each weekend features entertainment and exhibits. The last day for the Market is Oct. 13, the second Saturday of the month.

Applications for vendors and not-for-profits are available on the website at www.plymouthfarmersmarket.com or by contacting Tom Keb, Market Manager, 10499 Tyler Road, Bremen, IN 46506 (574-217-5776).
