02/29/12  On Saturday, February 25th around 8:30 a.m. the Marshall County Dispatch Center was advised of a single vehicle rollover collision on Muckshaw Road just south of Nutmeg Ridge Drive.  While responding to the scene it was reported by a bystander that the male driver appeared to be intoxicated.  During the investigation it was found that the driver, later known as Robin D. Smith 57, of Plymouth had been driving his 2001 Ford Ranger south on Muckshaw Road approaching Nutmeg Ridge when he lost control of his vehicle on the slick roadway and rolled the vehicle into the yard on the west side of Muckshaw Road.  At the scene of the collision Smith failed a field sobriety test and portable breath test.  Smith was transported to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and was given a certified chemical test and failed that also.  He was then lodged into the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for operating a vehicle with a BAC over .15% or more, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.  He was given a $1000.00 cash bond, which was paid on February 26th at 1:25am.  Smith is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on March 6th at 8:30am.
