Plymouth Clerk-Treasurer Lynn Gorski told members of the Common Council that the city received its second disbursement of ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funds.

Gorski said the funds were received on August 18th in the amount of $1,131,095.96. She commented that it was slightly higher than the first payment.  The total amount the city received is $2,257,926.69.

Gorski said the City Council passed a resolution to spend the funds based on the federal restrictions.  She, “We also need to make a plan and that plan has to be in writing.  The plan can be adjusted at any time, but the plan needs to be written.”  Gorski said the plan must be written and approved before the city can spend any of the ARPA funds.
