The Indiana Department of Health announced Thursday that 3,186 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings the state’s total to 794,077 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus.
To date, 13,686 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of six from Wednesday.
Fifteen new cases of the coronavirus were confirmed in Marshall County on Thursday’s report from the state. That brings the county’s total to 6,445. No additional deaths were reported and the county’s total remains at 117. There were 60 individuals tested and the 7-day positivity rate of all tests in the county was 8.1% while the 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals in Marshall County was 8.7%.

Hoosiers age 12 and older can receive a COVID-19 vaccine. To find a vaccination clinic near you, visit https://ourshot.in.gov or call 211 if you do not have access to a computer or require assistance. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are accepted at most sites.
As of Thursday, a total of 2,996,750 Hoosiers are fully vaccinated.
