08/12/11 The Sulentic Brothers Band will close out the Music in the Park Series on Friday night at the Young Amphitheater in Centennial Park. The group is ‘going on year eighteen’, The popular group from South Bend was formed in 1993 by brothers Tom and Dave Sulentic. The brothers along with Mike May, Cliff Schooler, Jim Robinson, Dave Lynch and newest member Jeff Mitchel have performed with many great acts throughout their years together. Their focus has always been on writing and performing their own music. The group has written over 100 songs influenced by classic artists such as The Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Gov’t.
Mule, The Doobie Brothers, The Beatles and Grand Funk Railroad, They have a unique ability to combine blues, rock and country that, when mixed together, is the perfect recipe.

If you don’t want to cook, Delta Theta Tau will once again be offering refreshments-each performance offering a special that reflects the group performing. As in years’ past, gates open at 6:00 with the performance at 7:30. Tickets are $10 for adults in advance and $15 at the gate. Children and K-12 students are free.
