corona virus updateThe Indiana Department of Health announced Wednesday that 1,272 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings the state’s total number to 717,564 Indiana residents known to have had the novel coronavirus.

In Marshall County we had an additional 22 positive COVID tests in the last 24 hours bringing the county’s total to 5,885.  No new deaths were reported; thus our county total remains at 109 residents.  47 additional tests were administered since the last report bringing the county’s total to 25,150 individuals tested.  The 7-day positivity rate for all tests is 3.2% wile the 7-day positivity rate for unique individuals is 13.2%

To date, 12,902 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19.

A total of 3,371,140 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana. A total of 9,711,225 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26, 2020.

As of Wednesday, a total of 4,114,426 doses have been administered in Indiana. This includes 2,315,568 first doses and 1,798,858 individuals who are fully vaccinated.
