COVID-19 Public Health Disaster emergencyOn Tuesday, November 17th the Marshall County Commissioners extended the Public Health Disaster Emergency Declaration for the county.  This declaration must be done every 7 days.

This is the fifth consecutive week Marshall County will be under the emergency declaration.  While the declaration doesn’t have a direct impact on citizens, it does make it possible for the county to implement laws, regulations and directives whether state or local to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

All residents are directed to comply with necessary emergency measures and cooperate with public officials in executing emergency operation plans.
