Drug ArrestsEarly Wednesday morning, July 24th Plymouth Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of North Michigan Street and Veterans Parkway that ended with the arrest of two.

About 1:30 Officer Arnold stopped a vehicle driven by 46 year old Amy Fansler of Plymouth.  After an investigation, Fansler was arrested for unlawful possession of a syringe and possession of a legend drug.

The passenger in the vehicle, 31 year old Matthew Toth of South Bend was arrested for unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of methamphetamine, false informing, and an outstanding warrant through St. Joseph County.

Both were incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail and each held on $3,000 cash bond.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
