Marshall County Rural Electric Membership Corporation (REMC) will hold its 81st Annual Meeting on Tuesday, April 2 at the Plymouth Wesleyan Church. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for registration and the meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. All REMC members are encouraged to attend. The Cooperative’s Annual Membership Meeting is the most important member event of the year and provides fun for the entire family.
The REMC is governed by a Board of Directors that are elected by the members at the Annual Meeting.The directors are responsible for representing the membership in major decisions that face the cooperative on a yearly basis.
Members attending the meeting will receive ballots for the election of three members to the Board of Directors. This year’s candidates for director include Brian Blosser, Mike Large, Andy Lemler, Jon Rettinger, Robin Roberts and Theodore Stevens.
This year’s entertainment will be provided by Christian Comedian, Brad Stine. Non-members are welcome to attend the entertainment.
A $5.00 cash attendance award will be given to each member that attends (one per member account). In addition, members attending are qualified for numerous bill credits including (20) $50 and (5) $150 REMC bill credits, and a chance to win the Grand Prize Drawing, a $500 REMC bill credit! A Fire HD 8 Kids Edition Tablet and Razor Power Electric Scooter will also be given away to two of the lucky children attending the meeting.
