WindAdvisoryThis is the latest information from the National Weather Service regarding the potential for severe weather this afternoon into this evening.

A “WIND ADVISORY” is now in effect from 1 p.m. this afternoon until 8 p.m. this evening.  South to southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph are expected this afternoon and we could have wind gusts as high as 45 mph.   Stronger wind gusts are possible with thunderstorms.

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 mph or gusts of45 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult…especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra

The impact from this Wind Advisory include damage to trees which could cause damage to power-lines leading to power outages, trees or limbs across roads, damage to homes.
