Bremen Meth Bust James & Stacy Miller 1-11-19A traffic stop on Friday, January 11th for a speeding violation led to the arrest of two adults on felony drug charges.

As approximately 5:30 p.m. a Bremen Officer stopped a Chevrolet passenger car traveling eastbound on US6 near State Road 331 for speeding.  During the stop it was found that neither the driver, Stacy Miller, age 47 of Medaryville, or the passenger James Miller, age 53, of Medaryville, held a valid license.

MugShot_James millerWhile continuing with the traffic stop, the officer became suspicious of criminal activity.  During this investigation, over four pounds of methamphetamine was recovered from the vehicle.

MugShot_stacy millerBoth subjects were placed under arrest for dealing in methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.  In addition, Stacy Miller will be cited for driving while suspended and speeding.   James Miller was also charged with the additional charges of Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.  Both were incarcerated in the Marshall County Jail.

The estimated street value of the meth is nearly $100,000.
