Congresswoman Jackie Walorski (IN-02) Monday released the following statement after an agreement was reached for debates to be hosted by WNDU and WSBT:
“Debates are vital to our democracy, and I welcome this opportunity to discuss the issues that matter most to Hoosier families. As a lifelong Hoosier, I spend every day fighting for the people of Indiana’s 2nd District. I look forward to talking about commonsense solutions like improving care for our veterans, helping hardworking families thrive, and bringing more transparency and accountability to Washington.”
Congresswoman Walorski’s campaign and that of her opponent have reached an agreement on the format of debates that will be hosted by local television news stations WNDU and WSBT. Discussions are ongoing to schedule a third televised debate. Additional details will be provided in the coming weeks.
