Grand River Construction, Inc. of Hudsonville, MI was the low bidder on the Hickory Road Bridge Replacement Project at $1,184,454.67. There were four other companies bidding on the project and those bids ranged from $1.3 million up to $1.5 million. Engineer’s estimate for the project was $1,405,686.
Grand River Construction will begin working next Monday, March 26th clearing the property of trees prior to the return of the Indiana Brown Bat on April 1st. Hickory Road between 7B and 8B Road will be closed due to the bridge construction project from March 26 through July 7th.
