On Saturday, March 3rd, just after 3 a.m. Bourbon Police Officer Matt Geiger stopped a blue Ford Escape on Lincoln Highway near Beech Road for speeding and driving left of center.
During his investigation it was found that the driver, Timothy J. Gardner from Etna Green had been drinking. He failed a sobriety test and a certified test. Mr. Gardner was arrested for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and lodged in the Marshall County Jail. He was given a $1,500 cash bond and a March 13th court date in Superior Court II. Mr. Gardner was charged with a felony due to having a second OWI within 5 years.
