04/25/11 The Yellow River Festival is inviting not-for-profit groups in Marshall County to become food vendors at the festival which will be held on Saturday, June 4th this year.

The festival provides venues to demonstrate the historic, cultural and ecological significance of the Yellow River as it journeys through Marshall County.

Food Chairman, Mike Woolfington said, “We encourage food vendors to prepare and serve foods that would have been available in the early 1800’s.  Vendors should cook their food the same was it would have been prepared in the early 1800’s if possible.”  There is limited electricity available for vendor use.

For more information, please call Mike Woolfington at 936-1882 or 936-9469 for details and even ideas of what to sell.
