04/25/11 As a part of the One Book, One Town experience, art teacher, writer, and performer Debra Conner will involve interested participants of all ages in an exploration of Cubism, the form Pablo Picasso helped pioneer.  This workshop is free and open to the public at the Plymouth Library, 201 N. Center Street, on Tuesday, May 3rd at 6:30 p.m.   In this free workshop, Ms. Conner will offer opportunities for participants to create their own mini-masterpieces.  As a member of the Ohio Arts Council and the West Virginia Arts Commission’s arts-in-education program, Debra Conner enjoys involving children in the arts.  In Marshall County to perform her one-woman show about Zelda Fitzgerald, Ms. Conner is helping to promote literacy with a variety of presentations related to this year’s reading of The Great Gatsby.  It is not necessary to have read the book in order to come to the workshop.  According to Ms. Conner, “The experience is easy and fun for all ages. “
